From the Center of Cebu City/Airport/Port area take a taxi to Maya for around ₱2,500 (up to 4 persons). Note: If catching a taxi from inside the port or airport (not just on the street) the price may be extortionate (double or triple) – one way to remedy this is to first get a taxi to a close by local shopping area then catch another taxi.
Either hire multiple taxis or hire an air conditioned van to pick you up from practically anywhere in Cebu and deliver you to Maya
Regular Van: ₱4,000 5-8 persons – ₱500-₱800 each
Large Van: ₱7,000 9-16 persons – ₱440-₱775 each
Getting to Malapascua (Budget Version)
– Approximately 5-6 hours – ₱190-₱340 each
From the Center of Cebu City (Colon St) take either a taxi ₱150 (up to 4 persons) or a number 01k or 21a Jeepney ₱20 (each) to the North Bus Terminal and look for the buses going to Maya. They leave approximately every 30 minutes and the cost is ₱170 (each) for the standard bus or ₱190 (each) for an aircon bus – the aircon bus runs every few hours, has extra leg room, in ‘flight’ movie and wifi – well worth the extra ₱20
